I have GERD. Yes, it can actually cause this kind of pain.

I would go to my primary care doctor to make sure it's GERD and not something else as heart issues can cause this type of pain.

It was the 100 mg that caused the problem. Maybe my stomach is ultra-sensitive to the mag.

I plan on trying Forteo if this Fortical doesn't at least halt or substantially slow the progression.
