Unhappy Re: sphenoid sinus infection

I'm pleased your surgery went so well. I'm still not convinced my pain is from my sinus...I've continued with saline flushing once a day and still getting discoloured mucus, but don't feel "infected"...

Re: Starting to think my sinus problem is TMJ instead!

As far as I can tell, the lead ENT specialist is going to do a clean out at the same time as fixing my deviated septum and opening concha bullosa. And I just have to wait till they send me an...

Re: Permanent sinus infection

I don't think TMJ on its own causes sinus infection. But in my case, it is possible as the mis-allignment of the jaw joint combined with constant clenching of jaw/teeth causing pulling on the muscles...

I don't have jaw pain either....until the doctor pressed on the trigger point! The nerves around the jaw are connected to other nerves in the face. I didn't realise my jaw made any noise till I...

Re: Starting to think my sinus problem is TMJ instead!

It's not that straight forward in the UK. Unfortunately I have paid taxes into the NHS system for over 25 years, only to find that when you need specialist help, it is almost impossible. Fortunately...
