Re: Rotator Cuff Surgery Compromised during Recovery Phase?

Samson, just about every person who has shoulder surgery thinks they wrecked their repair at some stage. What you did should not have hurt anything, but as long as that arm is securely in the sling...

Re: sharp boney bump after rotator cuff surgery

I might suggest requesting an X-ray. Then you can get the radiologists read. If it is a bony change, and there is a previous X-ray, you might get a better answer or comparison. Do listen to your...

Re: 4 weeks post op, first day back to work!

I think that might be a good idea.
I am curious... If that surgery did not help you at all, was there anything impinging on the suprascapular nerve? Or did everything look OK once he got in there. ...

I am not sure anyone here can help you out with that since we aren't doctors and cannot see it. But i would like to say that recovery can take much longer than 3 months. It can take at least six to...

Re: cortisone/bleeding

I know there is no way to counter the effects. You have to wait it out. I have never heard of this side effect though. I knew about the facial flushing, etc, so it does make sense.

I had two...

Re: Arthroscopic Rotator Surgery 3/20/14 My Story

Be thankful for the less invasive repair! A good percentage of full repairs fail anyway, but just going in and doing debridement is very helpful.

Re: MRI of shoulder findings what does it mean?

I am not a medical professional but the findings do not sound too terribly serious. That is not to say you do not have pain. A shot will not fix you, but surgery is not likely to do much either as...
