Re: Test results. thoughts?

Try to make sure your doctor brings your test levels to at least the middle of the range. Most think that if you hit the bottom of the normal range, you are ok. Also, have your testosterone and...

Re: test results?

I can't interpret your results, but most doctors seem to only care that your results are barely normal as opposed to in the middle of the range or how you actually feel. Some tests actually have...

Re: Food Intolerance Testing

I did two types, one was a blood test that tested about 100 foods and ranked my intolerance level per food. The doctor said that just because something came up as intolerant it didn't mean I was...

Re: large amt of intolerances

I have similarly been tested and am intolerant to so much it makes me think the tests are somewhat useless, however, I have an underlying hormone issue due to a bad pituitary and this issue can cause...

Re: foggy thinking

Yes....I do and I think it is from allergies....It doesn't seem that most doctors know how to cure this one. I think my allergies are related to my pituitary problem and that once I get my hormones...

Re: My story and, of course, hypo questions: is normal MY normal?

Tell the doctor you have been doing some research and would like your thyroid tested. Now days with the internet, doctors should expect patients to be savvy about their own health issues and...

Re: Can TSH be high and still have a pituitary disorder?

If you do decide to go off the hydrocortisone, make sure the doctor tappers you off over a period of time. This can be dangerous if you quit cold turkey. If your pituitary is working to some...

Re: MRI showed no pituitary tumor, but I don't believe it

If your current doctor won't refer you, you should find another doctor that is more interested in helping you solve this than their own ego. Also, you should be able to get the MRI films/data from...

Re: MRI showed no pituitary tumor, but I don't believe it

I would take both MRIs and get a second opionion of your films and your current meds, supplements, blood test results, and symptoms from an Endocronologist. Endos can read MRIs. See my other Reply...

Re: Hypopituitarism/Empty Sella

I had an MRI 10 years ago (looking for MS) and the radiologist saw a partially empty sella and said it was generally of no significance and there was no MS. Had a recent MRI of the pituitary and the...

Re: Does your weight matter in cortisone dosing?

Re: large amt of intolerances

I had to go through an elimination diet to figure out which ones I was really intolerant to. I was told by the allergist that food testing only shows that you may have an allergy. I'm trying to get...

What is a safe hydrocortisone dosage? Allergies?

My doctors have me at 15mg per day and won't go higher even though I still have symptoms of brain fog, fatigue, and I am allergic to everything (according to the allergist).

What have you been...
