Re: To have kids or not to have kids

A male perspective...

I was diagnosed with FM about 10 years ago. The doc thinks FM and wonders about CFS. I think CFS and wonder about FM. Regardless, the fatigue is probably comparable. I'm 54...

Formaldehyde exposure & personal property contamination

I've been out for a couple of months or more. My wife, son, and I sold our house and moved temporarily into an apartment on a short-term lease while we searched for another house.

All three of us...

Not to my knowledge, but I don't know. I would think it would be the same, all things being equal (i.e., one person is not catching up on sleep because of some prior deficit). My understanding is...

I have no idea. I don't know what you get now, and I don't know what the "average American" gets. I do know after many years of sleep issues for various reasons that 10 hours of poor quality sleep is...

Re: Sleep quality vs. quantity?

There's a curve there, and I wouldn't know how to answer that in any kind of definitive way. But in your example, the clear answer is 6 quality hours is better than 7 so-so hours. What makes it...

It can be caused by a number of things, including vertigo, inner ear problems, heart problems, nerve issues, and meds. If it's heavy dizziness I would lean more toward vertigo/inner ear. If it's less...

So does your doc not know you have heart problems? They only know what you have told them or what they have diagnosed. You're asking questions here that should really be asked of your doc.

I agree...

Re: Uterine Prolapse - Resuspension/Hysterectomy?

Hmmm... I guess that wasn't clear. You can't "resuspend" something that has been removed. So the final answer :) is that it was both: a resuspension and a partial hysterectomy. I think my confusion...
