Re: Something is wrong but doctors won't take me seriously

Are these doctors you have seen endocrinologists? A high prolactin level can be an indication of a pituitary tumor which can certainly mess with hormone levels especially thyroid and adrenal. Buffalo...

Re: Women in 40s experiencing peri/menopausal symptoms post-hysterectomy?

One thing I forgot to mention - Loss of ovarian function can disrupt the rest of the endocrine system especially the thyroid. So it wouldn't hurt to have your thyroid checked.

Re: Not sure if this is perimenopause

Getting your thyroid checked may be a good idea too especially since this all started when you were quite young (34 or 35). Thyroid abnormalities can cause irregular cycles and some of the symptoms...

Re: Women in 40s experiencing peri/menopausal symptoms post-hysterectomy?

It sounds like your ovaries have checked out causing a surgical type "menopause." Contrary to what most seem to think, naturally menopausal ovaries continue to produce hormones a woman's entire life....

Re: Unknown stomach pain that feels like gallbladder but it's gone; all tests normal

How awful! I wonder if it could be pancreatitis which cannot always be diagnosed via imaging. Have they ever checked serum levels of amylase and lipase? Those tend to be elevated during a...

Having only been on zoely for a month, it is probably not the cause of the continued and increased shedding. It typically takes 2 or 3 months for hair to react to an event. So give it another 2...
