Re: Gallbladder Removal - Not Sure??????

I started eating scrambled eggs and a 5 grain piece of toast. Strangely enough, oatmeal gave me problems at first. I still find that salad dressings sometimes make me feel unwell. I try to use...

Re: Gallbladder Removal - Not Sure??????

It seems to me that age is a factor in recovery. I have talked to people in their twenties and thirties that were feeling normal within 2 weeks of surgery. It took me about 8 weeks to be brave...

I'm glad to hear you are feeling better. Each day will find you getting more past the illness. Be sure you're not eating too much yogurt. That can sometimes cause some reflux, because it is a milk...

Not all gall bladder disease have the same symptoms. I never vomited; never felt nausea, and the pain was in the left quadrant. Doctors told me it wasn't my gall bladder. I couldn't eat anything...

I still take Miralax. I have chronic constipation. I wouldn't worry about that. I drink it about 3 times a week. It's so mild that they even give it to babies. I think you're going to be...

I can remember feeling those same things, but slowly you'll begin to feel more normal. At the end of three weeks, I was feeling far more comfortable, so hang in there. It will get better each day.

The first few days are a little tough after surgery. Even when you add foods back in, make sure they are low fat. Your liver has to get used to getting rid of the bile without the gall bladder. I...
