Just so you know my father had a stroke and could not speak or get out of bed. Feeding tube and he was amazing when I put him in a powered wheelchair. I talked to him daily as if he could answer me....

The brain has taken a traumatic incident. It takes time for the brain to heal and find new pathways. So hang tight and maybe get a walker or cane to help support her.

I play games on my iPad or computer. Also do crossword puzzles. Try memory games. One step at a time. Obviously you communicate great on the computer so don't worry it will get better.

It is normal. Remember your brain took a hit and is trying to recover the best it can. I had those feelings like it was happening again. It's hard to overcome that. With time it will settle down....

It is a therapy that reconnects the brain to the loss of function. That the easiest way I know to explain it.
