I started cutting in 5th grade, and stopped that year. Many things have happened to me recently and I started cutting again. I know I can stop, but I can't bring it to myself to let my parents down with even more terrible things. So, when I wanted therapy, they didn't want to pay for something I "didn't need", but they don't know that I really do need it. How can I stop if I can't even tell my parents??

Hello BrSk....
Parents are responsible for taking care of you as a child and it's your responsibility to make them aware of what is troubling you,so they can make sure your needs are met.
If you even think that they'll be disappointed with you, realize that it's not your fault and if they make you feel it is,it's because they are ill-informed....
If you're having trouble going directly to your parents and explaining the true seriousness of the situation...what about going through a school counselor? Your folks might take it more seriously if the counselor suggests it, and it will give you someone to talk to in the interim.
