Hello,
My name is Jennifer. I have been happily married for 20 years but lately there has been a big change. My husband, Beau, has become impotent. He is not willing to meet face to face with a doctor due to his embarassment, but wants to talk to one on the phone. Does anyone know any good online doctors in california who would do this for us? Thanx

Tell your husband to go to the doctor in person. He needs to talk to him and let the doctor actually make sure that Viagra is what he needs. He could have some other medical problem that may not come up in the phone interview for Viagra.

Don't worry what the doctor will think. He is a trained professional and will act that way when questioned.

I worried for weeks before I went to the doctor. I tried to figure out how to phrase the question, what the doc would say and all sorts of stuff. Even worried about what underwear to wear in case I had to get undressed for the examination.

I just meekly told the doc that I was having problems with erections and wanted to know what to do. He just wrote a prescription. and that was that.

I have a good relationship with my doc. We are buddies, sorta. I told him about being embarassed about having to ask for a Viagra prescription. He said no big deal. He writes lots of prescriptions each week. He was just glad that I asked for help and did not keep waiting.

The thing is to just get medical help.

I agree that he should see a doc. In spite of what you may have heard, most impotence has a systemic origin. His doctor should give him a full physical to rule out any serious problems. That being said, Viagra is very easy to obtain online. A doctor will review his medical history and decide whether or not it is appropriate. Generally, unless he's on nitrates for a heart condition, it will be approved. Two years is too long to wait. The stuff works!

Jennifer, my husband had pain in his testicles after we would have sex and he also had trouble getting hard sometimes. He saw several doctors before getting help.
Unfortunately they do not always act professional...my husband is 50 and they tried to tell him that it was normal at his age to not get hard and as for the pain...some just said "Hmmm..."

Turns out it was a female doctor that finally cured him. (But he needlessly suffered for about 18 mo.) I think a lot of men have hang-ups about this sort of thing and some of those men happen to be doctors.
