Can anyone offer comments on their experiences Viagra vs Levitra? I'm a 50mg Viagra user, and it works well, full success well over 90% of the time. Only problem is with the side effects - later severe heartburn and system upsets. Not enough of a problem to get me to quit, but I wanted to try Levitra to see how it does.
Got my samples, 6 pills, from the doc, 10mg, which he said is equivalent to 50mg V. Tried one a few nights ago - NO effect, nothing. Tried a second last night - NO effect, nothing. Next I'm going to try 2x10mg. If that does not work, I guess I'll forget it and go back to the blue diamond.
Can anyone offer their comparitive experiences? Thanks.

I am 60 and also treated for low testosterone levels. I have tried both successfully. The doctors and I are trying to regulate the dose. 10/50 is not enough. So I am trying 10 L and 50 V together. However, I can not penetrate, and that is what we are trying to improve. Erection is there. At the lower doses of both I have premature ejaculation.

No side effects from Levitra, and the erection comes on much slower so that we can enjoy ourselves. I take a warm BATH and then lay on the bed to cool down.

With Viagara, my vision is distorted and I get sinus congestion.

I have also tried to dissolve the tablets in my mouth while taking the bath. With L, you may want to try this with extra stimulation to your penis.

Cohjet, what is your latest experience using V & L together? I have not tried both together because my urologist told me not to used V & L together.

cohjef, did your distorted vision recover after you quit the Viagra? Have you checked to see if all your peripheral vision is still there? I still have a big blind spot 2 months after quitting Viagra. My other eye was blurred, but that is better now.

Sorry to have taken so long. I have not been on this board for more than a week.

The side effects from Viagara went away by the next morning. Did not care about the distorted vision because I had no real need to see--just do things and enjoy the trip!!

The urologist said I would need to experiment with various dosages. However, he did not want me to go over the combined maximum dose. That means 10 mg Levitra and 50 mg Viagara, or 75 Viagara and 5 Levitra. I can use any combination if I so choose.

The 10/50 split works as well as anything. I have used 10 mg L swallowed and 10 mg. L under the tongue, which also works well. My wife feels these give me the best quality erections. However, I am also being treated with testosterone replacement. With each attempt the erection gets stronger, and that likely reflects the increased T. level.
My levels are about 230 total, and the doctor is striving for 350 or higher. The free level is in the low normal range, but combined, not strong enough to obtain penetration.

The Androgel and the use of L or V is really uncharted waters. None of the drug companies have done studies on people with both problems. I called the Cialis and Viagara pharmacy staff.

I'll keep you posted, but things are lots better with the availability of Levitra, Viagara, and the Androgel.
