At the age of 45 I had to have a penile implant. the reason being I had Peronies disease (sp?). This is cuverture of the penis. It has helped, and has given my wife and I fifteen years of good sex. I'm just wondering if others out there have implants? I have what is called the "Rigged Rod.) I stay a little on the large side at all times. But get an erection when aroused.

i have peyronie too. and i'm thinking about an implant. i am just 30 and was blessed by this orrible disease at 28.
what about the pleasure that you can get with the implant? can you ejaculate? when you come have you some orgasm?
what about your condition before surgery?
please describe the kind of implant that you have: inflatable, rigid or what. you mani inch have you loose after the surgery?

Vinni happy to share with you.

Before surgery, I started to have a pulling when erect my Doctor explained it this way. It's like when you blow up a ballon, then if you pinch it it causes it to gether towards the pinched area. It got to the point that I was having problems getting an erection, and when I did, I would often loose it shortly after beginning sex. Needless to say, this was frustrating for both my and and me.

I settled with the " Rigged Rod". It wasn't quite as expensive as the inflateable ones, also I had heard that some people were having problems with the inflateable ones. In some cases they had to have them removed, and new ones put in.

As for sensations there is very little differnce. My Climax is good, no problems there, I ejaculate with no trouble. I can get and keep an erection.

One thing my Doctor told me up front and that was that it would not make my penis any larger than it was, but at the same time I didn't loose any inches either.

I can tell you that this has given me some good years of sex that I may have not had. It has been trouble free. I do stay a little on the erect side, so I have to be careful to position my Penis next to my body. Once in a while it will move, and cause a slight bulge, and yes I have had some side ways looks, I can always tell by that if it is "showing" But it isn't that oftan.

You are a young man, so I think I would consider having this done. However you will have to make up your mind if this is for you or not, and if so which implant to got with, when and all that.

Peronies is the name they give this. It's not a disease like in a sickness. Not sure why it's so called, but it is.

It is when the Penis is erect, it doesn't stand streight out. It tends to pull to one side, or better yet it's like when you blow up a ballon, and pinch it then the whole thing pulls in that direction. So that is mostly what happens. It can cause problems when trying to have sex. There isn't too much that can be done to "fix it" One reason this happens is that little balls of flesh form, on the penis, and this causes the pulling action. I was told, that surgery to remove them would only good for a littl while,as they would grow back. So... for me, it just seemed the best to get the implant, and enjoy sex once again.

Looking back, I would say I would do it again. And would advise anyone to have it done. But that is a decision each has to make for himself. Hope this helps, and if you have more questions let me know, I will be happy to try to answer. Or anyone else for that matter
