As far as I know, the mechanism of orgasm is through erogenic zone arousal, not through prostate. Orgasm is possible even when prostate is removed.

Scotty,
It depends. Did your Uro/Surgeon mention if he performed nerve-sparing prostatectomy?

Even if he did spare em ( and they run over and under the prostate and are very delicate) there is no guarantee those nerves will recover. The nerves take part in the nitric-oxide producing mechanism caused by mental and physical stimulation that help to cause an erection.

And without the Nitric Oxide(and cGMP) production any of the Big Three ED pills will not work since all they do is inhibit PDE5 which will try to degrade the cGMP (and that is how an erection finally ends).

cGMP is ultimately responsible for allowing the penis to become engorged (by relaxing muscles in the blood vessels). It's complicated -- amazing it works at all!.

But you should certainly give it a try .. ask your Uro for some samples of all 3 types even. Many prostate surgery patients take it daily, supposedly to aid in blood flow ( they are also mild blood pressure lowering drugs) -- by relaxing blood vessels).

Give em a try and report back!

R

Dr. Hornsby has clinics all over. I know of
one in Atlanta, and Orlando. All he works with is ED. They have say, no matter if prostate
removed, they have meds to work. Viagar and Levitra, does not work for 70% of guys.
Good Luck.
