Question Solution for early ED?

I am a 33 year old male. I've never had a problem achieving an erection but maintaining it can be a challenge sometimes. At least maintaining it at full strength.

I am on Irbesartan/HCT pills for hypertension. I am also overweight.(6'3" and 265lbs) I understand that weight can be an issue when it comes to ED and I am trying to do something about it. It all starts just cutting back what you eat... I also use marijuana on occasion. Not as a regular habit. Maybe 1 or 2 joints a week.

Is there a way to have a very low dosage of an ED pill to aid in maintaining full erections for 2 to 3 hours? My wife and I are very active in our sex life but when maintaining an erection is a problem it can cause frustration on both sides. Is it possible to get a very low dosage just to help "keep me at full attention"? Even just for 2 or 3 hours? (Heck I'll take 1 hr!)

Re: Solution for early ED?

Hey buddy, I am 23 and experience similiar issues. Interestingly enough I also take medicine for hypertension

Losartan/HCT

Ive read alot about the possibility of HCT causing impotence issues, but haven't had the courage to stop taking HCTZ for more than 2 days, I noticed little difference. Maybe it's our hypertension causing the issues? Ive gone to a urologist and he basically said hypertension takes 20 years to cause ED, never really told me how to cure my problem though, or whats causing it.

Do you have morning or evening erections? I do not. As for the ED pill, from what I understood it isn't recommended to even split the Viagra, 50mg is a low dose and most men need 100mg to work. I guess you could split the 50mg, but first discuss taking it with your doctor.

Any way get back to me, im curious as to see if our problems are similiar.

PS- Ive never tried Viagra or any other ED medication for that matter. However I know that particularly since you take an antihypertensive it is VERY important you first talk to your doctor before taking cialis, viagra etc. It could cause an unsafe drop in blood pressure, doctors even considered using prostoglandins "the ingredient in viagra" to lower blood pressure before making an ED drug!

Re: Solution for early ED?

The most common treatments for impotence itself are clearly the PDE-5 inhibitors . They work by inflicting a relaxation of all the tiny muscles that regulate the blood flow into the phallus. As a result, dysfunction is quickly treated and erections is achieved once more.

Re: Solution for early ED?

Unfortunately many of us dont have the hundreds of dollars per month for such treatments.

In my case doctors refuse to prescribe me anything due to my age 23.
