i have been with my girlfriend for three years now and i aint to sure about a few things because we have been together so long i am really relaxed around her but that doesnt seem to help i seem to ejaculate after approx 3mins and as soon as i do i lose my erection and thats it for the rest of the day/night. plus i only last 3 mins if i have had sex every day/night if we dont have sex 1 night the next i last about 20 seconds. is it time to see a dr?????

thanks i have seen several topics on here saying sex lasts anything between 1*2 hours surely that is not all penetration. because of my inability to last this long i take a long time to arouse through foreplay normally about 40 mins are people adding this time onto there totals. i would like to know normal average times of penetration

That is the saddest thing I have heard!! I would be looking into seeing a doctor of course I am not an expert and guys tend to know a little more about that area then I do but ..... anyway to answer your other question my bf an dI go for 2*3 hours every time not including foreplay!! that is all penetration!! But that is kind of long for me since before him I was used to only going an hour max and that wasnt all penetration!! SO I guess what I am saying is the length depends on the person. But I would definitely look into getting some help!!
Yes yes...my boyfriend has the same problem, well not quite, but similar. He only lasts about 2 minutes, but can get it back up for a second time and then he can usually last longer. Here's an idea:
Read about tantric sex! This has helped my bf a lot! He has learned how to orgasm without ejaculating and can therefore sustain the erection (while it continues to be pleasurable for him!) This is only through masturbation, but he is trying to make his way up to sex eventually. It's taken him about 1 month to get to this point, and the book that it takes about 6 months to master for sex.
Anyway, since I can't tell you about how to learn tantra, I suggest looking it up or buying a book about it. Good luck.
P.S. Maybe even masturbating could help you last longer, or have your wife give you oral or a hand job first.
I would wonder if your inability to get an erection soon after sex is psychological or physical. You might see a doctor and even try out Viagra, to see if it might help with a second erection.
As for lasting longer, you can try applying a numbing cream prior to sex (Mandelay is one such cream as is sold in drug stores). There is also a condom that is lubricated with a numbing ointment that might help out.
