do vaginas seriously get "loose"?

i hear this term thrown around alot.. but i've never given it any thought.

i just accepted it as something that befell overly-promiscuous women and women who have had long-term sexual relationships with very well endowed men, *lol*.

what's the actual truth to the term?

Re: do vaginas seriously get "loose"?

There is no truth to that. I mean come on that would mean women who have given birth vaginally would be considered loose as well. My Dh can tell you that isnt true.
Most cases the reason it seems a girl is looser is either because they arent using the muscles there to squeeze during sex or they are so comfortable and aroused by their partner that the muscles are not tensed up to create that tight feeling.
How many partners or how endowed the partner is doesnt have anything to do with being loose.

Re: do vaginas seriously get "loose"?

thanks Blastoff..
it's a term that's always perturbed me, somewhat.. and i had a feeling it was misleading..

so a pornstar COULD still be "tight"..

this information will be gracing many a debate amongst men from this day forth. *lol*

Re: do vaginas seriously get "loose"?

This is completely and totally false. Probably started by a couple of uneducated men way back when in the dark ages.
The vagina is very elastic, which is why it is able to accomadate a baby, with very few if any ill effects afterward.
The reason 'they' say virgins are so tight, is because in most instances they are nervous - or not completely relaxed. As a woman becomes more accostomed to sex - and more completely aroused during it- she relaxes more making it feel 'looser'.

Case in point - I took a virgin girl - (g/f at the time) and on her first time - I all but fisted her (nearly fisted i mean). This just goes to show - that a woman fully aroused - her vagina becomes very elastic, and that the 'tightness' is nothing but a myth.

Why would it disturb you? I was merely using the example to show that sexual experience doesn't affect the elasticity of a vagina at all.

that's what disturbed me..
i mean, damn, she was a virgin.. and you all but fisted her?
i wouldn't go beyond a couple fingers unless it was requested.. "nearly fisted" seems way overboard.. and for a virgin!
*lol* that's just me tho..

Re: do vaginas seriously get "loose"?

It wasn't as if I forced her. That's the point - it was very relaxed, done gently and not forced into her. That's what I'm trying to say: If properly aroused; things such as four fingers or very large toys will slide in easily.

(btw: she did request it, she said it felt very full and very nice.)

Re: do vaginas seriously get "loose"?

"Loose" is defined two ways, as far as I can tell.

If a woman can train herself to untense her vaginal muscles to accept a guy's penis, if it's girthier than average, then over time she will be looser in the context of "relaxes more easily". (This is also the case, as mentioned previously, if the woman has had enough foreplay and is aroused enough relaxing her vagina)

If a woman has had a vaginal delivery then yes, the vagina does, more often than not lose the original elasticity/muscle tone from the damage during delivery. This is why women are advised to do kegals by ObGyns after delivery (to flex the PC muscles back into shape)

I wouldn't have a clue as to any scientific research done on women who haven't had kids vs. women who have and their elasticity, but I'm fairly certain about this.

Re: do vaginas seriously get "loose"?

I'm a 22 year old female that has gave birth vaginally 2 times, and with me personally I still think it is the same size before I had kids, my dh says I feel the same way before I even had kids. Maybe it depends, on each woman.

Cool Re: do vaginas seriously get "loose"?

AS we get older every part of the body changes. Looseness-tightness it is all relevant to your perception.

Re: do vaginas seriously get "loose"?

I think a lot of it does have to do with relaxation because I can't have anal sex if I'm not relaxed, but if I am relaxed, my boyfriend and I have no problem and suddenly, I'm not as "tight." Hmnn....

I am not so sure arousal has THAT much to do with it, at least that's been my experience.

There have been times when I hve been VERY aroused and VERY wet, and yet it still feels very tight when he enters me, and I have to ask him to go VERY slow as it hurts a little in the beginning. Those times normally occur if I have gone without sex for a while (couple of weeks)

Re: do vaginas seriously get "loose"?

I think it's different for everyone. I experience a lot of pain "down there" anytime I or anyone else tries to penetrate my vagina. I can be extremely relaxed, extremely turned on....it doesn't matter. I've never been abused and I'm very open minded.....I guess that some people are just tighter then others!!
