Red face Anal Sex

Hi I am Bi and I've tried anal sex for te first time and at the beginning it was painful. But the pain went away. My question is after intercourse I've notice my anus was bleeding, what happened?? It was only for a minute and stopped. Should I be concerned about STD's and such if my partner wore a condom?

Help your responses are surely needed!

Re: Anal Sex

The bleeding was probably caused by tears in the skin and because of that you are more suseptible (sp?) to STD's. You & your partner should wear condoms at ALL times to prevent the spread of STD's. Also, you should be forewarned that there are STD's out there that condoms DO NOT protect against, such as Herpes & HPV. It is possible to be infected with either one and not show any signs or symptoms for YEARS to come!

GOOD LUCK!!!

Re: Anal Sex

The skin inside the anus is very tender, placing anything there can lead to tearing and abrasions, a penis and thrusting there will certainly cause this and probably is the reason why there was some bleeding. This is why the potential for HIV/AIDS is so high with anal sex. Condoms are a must! I would also say that alot of lube, some gentle stretching and a slow pace would be important to allow your anus to stretch without the chance of too much pain or tearing.
