Ok, so I'm probably overreacting but two nights ago my boyfriend and I started having sex and he could not get hard the way he normally does. He's usually rock hard and this time it was only a semi. This has NEVER happened before and we have a great sex life and a great relationship. What could it be? He's not taking any medication but he has had some stress in his life lately. However, through it all he was fine and it's only now that this happened. He's convinced himself that he's starting to go impotent and that he has this major problem.

I am familiar with your other posts- it is no wonder why he may be having difficulty with all that is going on right now. I highly doubt that he is becoming impotent- this happens all of the time to perfectly normal guys, once the stress level is down I am sure he will be back to normal.

Theres the possibilty that he is just stress out....if he can get it up but its just not has "rock hard" as it usally is....I'm sure its just a temp thing ? That has happen to me...I was freaking out went to see my Dr and he told me not to have sex for a week....hey that work I was More than "Rock Hard" and the sex was better than ever.

I am having this same problem and was going to post here to check it out. I can only really get a semi when I am with my girlfriend. It is not hard enough to put inside her and I go soft when I am in. I am getting off medication known to cause this which may be the problem. It seems like when I am by myself though I can get a normal erection. I am worried that since, during the years of 14-17 I looked at porn pretty regularly, that kind of made me dependent on it. it seems like I am more turned on by watching rather than experiencing. can they prescribe a medicine like viagra for this if worse came to worse? I am about 80 percent sure its just the meds that are causing the erection difficulty (zoloft). usually one touch should be enough to get me hard, but ever since I started the meds I swear I have to be thinking of something extremely sexy to get a normal erection.
