Something bad happened to us during sex: ECP, Birth Control, and our chances... HELP!

PLEASE READ ALL! Thanks.

Well me and my g/f have been together for almost 3 months now and we have been having sex every since we got together. The relationship is awesome and neither of us could ask for more, everything is great. Anyway, she never really liked to be on top and be in control up until last night. She did it for the first time and we both liked it. (Note: We practically always use condoms, if not, we only start off sex without one and put one on within 5-10 minutes and finish like that... But mainly I wear one all the way through sex) We did again this morning, as well as switching and having me on top for a little while....

Long story short, the sex was awesome. We were both exausted after and she stayed on top of my while i was still inside her.... She got off me and I noticed the condom was off. I figured it was just hanging from inside her seeing that it has done that a couple of times because I tend to get soft soon after sex is done, lol. It wasn't there. So I ended up having to grab it from inside her with my finger. It was pretty far in, just about my whole finger length in..... with the sperm inside it.

Now, we're not sure if the condom was off for a while and i orgasmed without it on and it was sort of just inside her during sex. Or if it came off just when she got off me.... (This would be the obvisous conclusion seeing that there WAS INFACT sperm inside the condom) But that doesn't mean some couldn't of spilled out inside her or got out in some other way, and etc.

She does have some ECP (Morning After Pill) and is going to take it tonight which would be no more than 24 hours after this whole incident......

We want to get some input on what our chances are of the worst?..... Her getting pregnant.

The second dilemma:
Also, she used to use the patch but her last patch she had from the free clinic fell off about 4-5 days ago. So she hasn't been on birth control for that long, normally she is. We planned on switching to the pill on May 19th when she has an appointment with her doctor, not the free place.

We both know she has to take the ECP tonight (I guess there are two pills she is supposed to take in the package).... But what I was telling her is that we should also go to the free clinic today seeing that it is open only on Tuesdays.... They will give her the same thing the doctor will. She's been off BC long enough and I figure just get it from the clinic and cancel your appointment.... She says there is no reason to get BC from them since she is getting it on the 19th. I say it couldn't hurt. Since we are going to be having sex a few more times at least before the 19th. She's already gonna take the ECP tonight, but after that, we have NOTHING until the 19th.

She says if we go to the clinic, if anything, we should just get more ECP if we get into a similar situation before the 19th when will get regular birth control. Am I wrong or wouldnt it be good to not only take the ECP, but to be able to start the pill as soon as possible given our current situation with the whole condom thing..

HELP!

Having her take the ECP is about the most you can do at this point. Having her start her birth control pills early will probably not make any difference, so I would say you are wrong in rushing her to get and start the regular BCP. Stick with the ECP.

Also, she will most likely be told to start her regular birth control pills after her period, so getting them sooner will not make any difference. And since there is a chance (however slight) that she might get pregnant, it is advisable to wait for her period before starting them.

Finally, you seem unreasonably concerned that you WON'T BE ABLE TO HAVE SEX until she starts her pills. Sheesh! lighten up! Is it going to kill you? Is your 'awesome' sex really worth risking her getting pregnant? IMO, the best thing for you two would be to abstain from intercourse and wait for her period so she can start her pills. It is possible that the ECP will mess up her cycle so it's important that you not be taking any risks until then. I also don't know how advisable it is to take ECP more than once in a given amount of time.

What if her period comes before the 19th when she's supposed to get her pills.......... Can she still start them and have everything run smoothly and correctly, or would she have to wait a whole nother month for her next period! lol (I wouldn't think that cause that's pretty ridiculous... just asking to make sure though haha)

Most birth control packs give you options on when to start - first day, fifth day, or Sunday start. So unless she starts her period within the next 4 days, she's covered. In any event, if she starts her period before her scheduled appointment, she can go down to the clinic and get some then.
