hey all newbie here! i just have a quick question. im on my period right now, but me and my boyfriend have our ways around it. today after dry sex, i noticed that my panties were wet. of course thats nothing unusual, but i wasnt expecting to be cuz of my tampon. this kept us thinking, where does the wetness come from anyway if not the vagina? thanks for any ideas/answers in advance

Re: where does wetness down there come from exactly?
As a woman becomes sexually aroused, the tissue lining the first inch or so of her vagina begins to swell and exude a slippery fluid out through the hundreds of small ducts buried in the lining. These vaginal juices first appear right inside the vagina, and as the womanís arousal builds, the secretions will run out the opening. The vulva also has Bartholin glands that produce a lubricating fluid.
