Zithromax dose question
I have read that a 1g single dose is all you need, but after ordering a scrip, it says on the box to take seperate doses, 1st one being 250 mg, then 125 mg for 4 days...

I'd rather just take the single dose way, but dont want to mess it up...
anyone?

you want to take them as directed. taking them all at once, besides risking an overdose, is not likely to kill whatever you are taking them for.

Some bacterial infections need multi-day treatment. However, infections such as chlamydia can be effectively treated with a single 1g dose. Do what your doctor ordered.
