I need dircection on this from someone. My GF has an issue where sex hurts for her, everytime. I have had many parteners, so I am up and up on communication, we use lube, and I have researched the topic of the art of sex fairly thouroughly, so performance is generally ruled out as the cause. She says it hurts everytime, which I believe her. She describes it as burning sometimes, sometimes as tearing. We are both in our 20's. Obviously it gets very disconcerning for her, not being able to ever experiance the pleasures of sex. Her OBGYN has examined her, to no avail. I am convinced that, living in a small town setting, the OBGYN just hasn't come across this issue often, if at all, making the prognosis ignorant. Are there specialists for issues like this out there, or does anyone have any ideas as to the issue. IF it's mechanical, can it be fixed? Can it be properly diagnosed by ANYONE? What's not right in this scenario?
Go look up Vulvadynia and Vulvar Vestibulitis. (2 separate things.) I am tired tonite, but I will write more tomorrow and tell you about them and what to do for each one.
My wife and I had the same problem as Newly-weds. That's been quite some time ago though, we've been married for 23 years. Anyway, she went to the doctor to see what the problem was, and it was a yeast infection. She was given medication for it, and after a week or so, she was as good as new. I think you need to find another doctor to examin her. Let us know how things turn out!

Both of these sound like things that have symptoms outside of sex. Her issues are limited to intercourse or insertion of objects into the vagina. If I read up incorrectly on these diagnosis, please correct me.

Again, it has been a long occurig thing, and only affects her during contact with the vagina. These traits are inconsistent with a yeast infection. Any other thoughts?
