Zyprexa - Can't get sexually excited !!

I'm a 26 y/o male with a history of psychotic episodes and bipolar disorder. This January, I began using zyprexa (for the first time since 2003). While on it my dosage stayed pretty much at 20mg per day, but at one rare instance it was as high as 30mg.

During my course of treatment i began feeling "limp". I can't have an erection whatsoever, despite when i masterbate, but the main problem is i can't get sexually excited - at all! Even when i watch porn i can't get sexually excited, therefore, i can't have an erection.

When i confronted my urologist and psychiatrist about it, it turns out that my FSH levels were low, which accounts for sperm production. However, this doesn't account for my NO libido, erectile dysfunction, and inability to become sexually excited.

Both doctors asked that i stop the medication and see how i feel when im off (or a month or so afterwards as it could take some time). I'm currently weaning off and just feel horrible, i can't get sexually excited and am really worried that i'll never be able to. I think its because of the medication as the feeling that i couldn't get sexually excited gradually started over my treatment period and got worse. I just thought it was a side effect that would go away but it hasn't. I'm currently on 5mg for a few more days, then 2.5 for 4 days then I'm off.

I am hopeful that it is just the medication. Does anyone have any experience with zyprexa causing such serious sexual side effects? I've done heaps of research and impotence, abnormal ejaculation, etc. are side effects of the drug.

Please help if you can shed some light on this.
