| young daughters overly curious about sexuality etc
This is my first post, and I don't know for sure where to post it, so please move it if needed.
Some background: I have 2 daughters, ages 7 and 9. I am a single father, it has been just us since my youngest was about 3 months old. My oldest has recently started getting cramps and mood swings etc, and GP told me that she'll probably start her period soon. Her mother started at 9 also, not sure if that has any bearing.
Anyway, my oldest has been extremely curious about sex and sexuality in general lately. I have had talks with her, and I believe in being very open as I don't want them to hesitate to talk to me later in life. I have bought books and she has web access so she can find out anything she might be too embarrassed to ask me.
The question is, is it normal for a girl at 9 years old to be so curious?
