Sex log

My boyfriend and I had a discussion the other day about our sex life. For personal reasons I brought it up to him that I wanted to stop having sex until we were married and ready to have children. He struggles with trust issues and he believes that this could make things a lot worse for him. In fact, he had been meaning to tell me that he thinks we should have more sex. currently we have sex on average once or twice a month. He thinks that if we had more sex he would feel more secure and overall happier. So now I've agreed that we will have more sex but I am really curious about whether it will result in a stronger happier relationship or if it has no effect. I want to come up with a log for us to keep for the next few months in order to track these results but I'm having difficulty deciding what types of things I should observe. This is a log focusing on our emotions and behavior so nothing sexual will be recorded. If you have any suggestions or any thoughts please let me know.

Re: Sex log

You want your log to be objective, not to be influence by your own emotions. I'd record something concrete. Like how long each sex last. If more sex results in longer sex, then he is right. Another important thing to record is actually after the sex. If more sex makes him wanting to touch your intimate parts more (not on bed, but e.g. in the kitchen), then again he is right. What could happen is, for some men, after sex they become less interested in their women's body. That means they just say they need more sex but in reality they don't.
