I am an 18 year old virgin who has done very little with guys, other than make out. Every time I do that, or a guy touches me in the right way, I start to produce TONS of liquid "down there". I know that that is supposed to happen, but not this much! It is really embarrassing and causes me to not go any farther with guy even when I really want to. Is there anything I can do about this?
no! don't do that! wearing a tampon to control a totally natural body function is stupid and dangerous. You could risk getting Toxic Shock Syndrom (really serious, you could die). And I don't know how far you are going with guys, but if they happen to see or feel the tampon, most likely it will really freak them out (the whole period thing has really thrown them for a loop). So don't worry, all girls have your "problem", and it just lets guys know that we like them
please don't wear a tampon! not only is it dangerous, when you aren't flowing, it hurts like hell! there are these great little things carefree makes, though- it's a pantiliner, but all wrapped up like a little tiny pad. they come in scented and unscented, and they are a godsend!!! kotex makes them too, and i buy mine at walmart, so they should be easy to find. one other little help can be some powder (cornstarch or regular talcum is great, and it only takes a little). it feels nice too, because then you stay dry! have fun! I wouldn't really worry about it personally. As a guy I would be flattered by any female who got that wet. It would make me think she was really turned on and liked me.

The posters are right (other than JDl) Do not ever wear a tampon when you are not on your period it is VERY dangerous. Pantyliners are very thin, comfortable and should do the trick for keeping your pants and panties dry.
Also remember that is what your body is supposed to do, our country was founded by a bunch of puritans- so we are made to feel guilty or embarassed by perfectly natural- normal things.... don't by into it. In my experience the last poster is totally right, men are very aroused and enjoy knowing that they are "on the right track" as it were. it is always gratifying to see that you have as much of an effect on your partner as they are having on you!

That person that said "wear a tampon" is a complete dope! I think that maybe he/she was trying to be funny, but ended up lookig like a moron. I had a night with a girl about 15 years ago...without going into too much detail, she was very, very wet. Yes! Do not wear tampons! But I wouldn't be embarrased, that is a turn on for men. It's better than not having lubrication, because that can make sex very painful.

Listen to the women who know from experience that all you need are the panty liners. It is only normal for your body to respond in this way. You heard the men, they like it. When you do become sexually active you will be very thankful that you have all this natural wetness!

All I can say is the first time I ever made out with a guy I was dripping wet too. Now years later....even when I am about to have sex I am still dripping wet. So its normal girl....just hang in there...when u are that wet...sex is the best.
My body is very responsive. I get real wet, esp. around my bf. I've never experienced anything like it. It's a joke between us now.
