Sex drive, while having Paxil/Seroxat...

I was put on Paxil=Seroxat about six months ago. In the first 3 weeks, I couldn't have a decent erection, and I had no sex drive at all. After then, I got a (litle) better. But my erections are still weak, and I take a really long time to ejaculate. Does this get better with time?

Thank you

Re: Sex drive, while having Paxil/Seroxat...

paxil = lowered sex drive, weight gain due to huge appetite, and little interest in getting erections in the first place (in the majority of users)
these symptoms can be worked upon and usually subside when finished the medication program

You need to let your doctor know that you are having these side effects so that he can determine with you whether you want to continue the medication or switch to something that doesn't have these side effects. They will also make a note of this on your medical records for future reference. Call your doc and update him.
