I have a few questions..
My husband and I are quite extream with our sex life. I am very submissive and he is VERY dominate. The submission has not only excelled in the bedroom but now it is like over running my life. Do you think that it is because the domination is messing with my self esteem so much that I have to be controlled everywhere?

Also, In the begining when he would tie me up and smack me around and humiluate (sp) me I would take it to heart and not tell him that it bothered me and now it is very erotic, do you think I was just so use to it that I like it now??

One more, When he hog ties me I get bruises on my wrists and ankles does anyone have any kind of home remedy for marks?? ( No, he can't make the knots any looser or ill be able to get out :/ )

Wait, Last one! Are we strange because we are so very into this?? I mean, are we the only ones out there that do this?? Please help me out here!

First no you arent strange,there are many,many couples into this.
I found a good way to avoid mark is to use socks as padding between the rope and your skin. It might help you. Seems strange but it works for me. I bruise very easily as it is so when we started using bondage we had to come up with something to keep me from bruising.
Also as for the sub thing spilling over that does happen for some subs. If it bothers you then work on controlling it better. If you are fine with it then go with it. I know a few subs that like for it to spill over into their everyday life. I am not like that so I prefer to keep it strictly to the sex part of my life.

There are many great books out there that you can read to help you out. It will even give you other ideas to use. It might help you to talk to other subs to see how they feel. They can give you more accurate answers also. You can do a search and find many boards and chat rooms in which subs get together online to talk.

As for you being use to it and liking it now I cant really answer. It could be that or it could be you have found the key that makes it erotic to you.

Also instead of tying you up why not use regular wrist restraints that have velcro. You can attach the rope to the restraint and then tie the rope to the bed or tie the hands together. To get more information why not do a seach for BDSM on the web and start reading.

First of all, it's very easy to injure yourself with rope, so invest in some proper bondage restraints. They are more secure than rope and spread the constriction over a larger area, reducing the risk of bruising. I've found leather works the best -- very durable, soft, supple, often comes lined with lambskin so it can be very comfortable too.

I don't think you're weird but that first and second question is one you're going to have to answer yourself.
