Post Need Advice..Should i be so paranoid???

Let's see if you can follow:
I just recently started taking birth control pills, Low-Orgestrel last month.I've heard you should use another method of contraceptive for 3 months until BCP really settles in, or just the first 7 days after you start, etc. I had unprotected sex at the beginning of this month, but he told me I had nothing to worry about, but being paranoid as I am, I used my BCPs as Emergency Contraceptive Pill. So I havent been taking any this past wednesday to saturday because I took those days already as ECP, so I was gonna pick back up Sunday with the pills and be back on schedule. BUT the thing is, I had protected sex this weekend but the condom broke, so Im really paranoid, because I had not been taken any pills the last 4 days because I used them as ECPs the week before, and now Im using them as ECPs again. So,I wont be taking any pills this entire week bc I used them all!!So Im asking you what are my chances of getting pregnant(not because I missed any pills, its just that I took them EARLY) Respond soon please!!!

Well for starters, Take the Pill as you were told to. Second don't try your on way to try to proctect yourself by taking them early. Tak them as you were told to.....have protected sex and if you are that scared of having a baby have him pull out before he ****. And if you are still worried I don't think you should be having sex.

well Janel, thanx for nothing. You obviously didnt understand my problem very well. But ur entitled to ur own opinion so whatever. Just so u understand if you didnt, my birth control pills can be used as emergency contraceptive, so I wasnt doin my OWN thing. The dosage is 4 pills within 72hr and 4 more 12hrs later. But due to my paranoia the first time im afraid it will effect this time which i have good reason to be paranoid about since i DID use protection but it failed, so sue me for being overly cautious.

To be perfectly gentle, that was a little unreasonable.

You WERE doing your own thing -- your doctor did not tell you "take the pills unless you have sex in which case take them as ECPs and to hell with your schedule."

Take The Pills Like It Says On The Package.

If you took them properly to start with, you are more protected than if you take them as ECPs. ECPs are not as effective as taking birth control pills consistently and properly.

If you're paranoid about getting pregnant, abstinence for 7 days is always an option.

I have to agree. Just becuase yourpills have been used by PROFESSIONAL DOCTORS as ECP doesnt mean you can do it yourself. Only if your DOCTOR told you can you do this and even then it is iffy because you should have been taking your BC pills all along. ECP can be used while on BCP for those that are really paranoid or not taking their regular BCP correctly.
Second of all in most cases after the first month of PROPER use the pill is very effective(not fool proof) in preventing pregnancy.
Also taking yoru pills early like you didnt isnt going to help too much considering youwill be missing the rest of your week from doing it like that. What you should have done IF your DOCTOR had oked this was take the pills from an extra pack(instead of the one you are actually using) and keep taking the ones in the current pack as you normally would.
Your chances dont look that great. In other words there is a good chance of your getting pregnant from all this screwing around with your pills.
From now on stick with the directions of taking the pill properly. Dont have anymore sex until get you get your pills straight and take them correctly.
Now you will have to play the waiting game to see if you are pregnant or not. Give it about two weeks and then take a test. If the test is negative them I suggest taking a second test about a week after that just to make sure.
