Once in a while I read posts by men who say they can last for an hour or more when having sex. I've never lasted anywhere near that long. I can't imagine having sex for an hour without orgasming. I wouldn't think women would enjoy that either. My impression is that while women don't want you done in like a minute, they also don't want to "go at it" for an hour or more. Are you talking an hour of actual intercourse? Don't you get tired? I can see an hour if you include fore play and cuddling afterwards, but for me the actual act usually lasts several minutes at the most. Am I missing something? For you women, do you like it if a guy takes an hour to orgasm when having sex?

See, I say my boy can last an hour, but I'm counting the whole foreplay thing, and the slow build-up, and slow sex, which is much more drawn out on general principle.

I mean, it's a pacing thing -- if I want him to quicken his pace and finish off, I'll let him know. But you've got the right idea -- it isn't necessarily the most awesome thing ever to be able to last forever during sex. (As many people on SSRIs have found out.)

In my experience, a guy who says he can last an hour is usually including all the other stuff too. Straight intercourse for an hour isn't exactly my idea of great lovemaking, but an hour or more of the whole thing including foreplay and various positions etc, is great. So, sustaining an erection for an hour of the "whole thing" is quite respectable, an hour of straight intercourse: potentially painful/tiring/boring.

Even after starting out slowly after the foreplay I have managed to last nearly an hour. When one is only expecting to last 20 minutes at most, 45 minutes is a little overwhelming. I found myself getting a little anxious in a manner of speaking. Thinking to myself "why is this taking so long?" Thank God for lube, the chafing was limited.

One hour includes the whole encounter. After the first one, you will last longer each time.
