Hi, I wanted to throw a situation I went through w/ my bf out here and see what others thought. My bf has always been the type (his friends verify this)to say he doesnt enjoy strip clubs and giving the girls in them his money. Anyway, awhile back I found out he had went to a few. The first time with a friend from work and I found a business card from the place. The second time he went alone and he came right home and told me. After he told me he wanted to have sex. I quess I should have been glad he told me and then came home to have sex,whatever but I did feel kind of offended and hurt. All I could think when we were having sex was it's obvious he went there got turned on and then came home probably still having these girls in mind. We live in a varily small town w/ only two of these clubs. I have know about 5 girls that have worked in them. The girls are just nothing to look at and are rather ugly and torn down really. I feel like Im attractive and sexy so I dont see why he would want to go see them. We have a good sex life I quess, except I am not usually that pleased. He seems to want to be routine and even when I go to trying different things hes like pushing me do to the same ol'. I just wondered how other women felt about their men going to strip clubs? I wondered what men get out of going (even when you have your own stripper at home)?

I am not sure what some of them get out if as I am female but I have been in quite a few when I was single and don't find it offensive. I really don't see a problem with these places so long as it is not an obsession with the guy going there. You are right that some of these girls are nothing to look at and in my opinion if a guy wants to look let him since I always KNEW that my fella was coming home to me. Many women enjoy looking at things like the chippendale dancers so it goes both ways.

I have been to a few strip clubs with my friends before I started dating my current bf, and for someone single, it's all good and fun. I wouldn't go to one, nor would I want my bf to go to one while in a relationship simply because I know how much money is spent while at these clubs. I can think of so many more and much better things that my bf can be spending his money on...not on random naked women.

sorry but why would anyone in a relationship want to look at other people and be all attracted to them and such.. strip clubs are for singles.. its stupid to go if youre with someone.. i mean when youre in a relationship, its commitment to another person, going to a strip club and looking at other people doesnt seem very.. well.. comitted.. you know?

AngieJones,well to be honest strip clubs arent just for singles. Many,many married men and women go to them either together or alone. It doesnt have to deal with them not being committed to each other.
I have been married a little over 8 yrs and DH(dear Husband) goes to strip clubs and I have no problem with it.
It is a matter of personal choice. I mena think on this. Youa re in a committed relationship with someone but you still look at other guys. Such as in the mall or in movies. You still find others attractive. Does that mean you are not as "committed" to your partner? No it just means you are human and not dead nor blind when in a relationship.
