Im scared to have sex!!!for some reason im scared my heart will go crazy because i have hyperthyroidism,and panic disorder.I dont know what to think.People say if your heart can deal going up 2 flights of stairs then you can have sex.........someone HELP!

Are you on medication for your panic disorder?
It's possible that once your panic disorder is under control you won't have such anxieties over having sex. You don't mention if you are married or not. If you are married this may be even more of an issue for you.
I don't know how old you are, but believe it or not your doctor might be the person to talk to.
Another thought is to check out the "Panic Disorder" section of the boards here to see if anyone there has run into a similar anxiety.

Nah, I don't agree with the 2 flights of stairs stuff. Sex has never made me get puffed out! But anyway, I agree with Hoosier, see your doctor. Don't blow things out of proportion in your mind without getting the facts first.

it would be a good idea to talk to your doc...i think everyone gets scared their first time, but since you have a panic disorder, it might be best to consult a doctor before taking the plunge...
