I just got my second shot of Depo Provera today...! For the past 3 weeks I have been nothing but feeling sick all the time...! I dont even really wanna eat cause i just feel sick. Anyone else ever have this problem. My nurse at the doctors today didnt seemed concerned except she did ask me if I wanted to continue the shots...she said it is a side effect and should go away over time (so im trying to stick it out to see if that happens cause that is my one main side effect) Did anyone else feel sick all the time while on this shot?

Hello I have heard horriable things about the shot I was on it and will never take it again after hearing the ladies on here who have taked it and the horror stories. anyway I had no side effects from it other than I concieved my 13 month old while on it. it was a shock but now of course it was worth it.

Do a search for depo provera on these boards and research it thoroughly before you even consider getting another shot. I have a friend who's wife was constantly ill and in fact had thousands of dollars worth of medical tests to try to find out what was wrong with her and once I finally convinced his wife to look at depo more careful she took the info in to her doc and her doc was so apologetic that she said if she had only known more about depo she would have never ever used it on her patients. Since getting off the shot my friends wife is FINALLY getting her life back but very slowly. Do some research on this.
