Whats wrong with me? Need help please! - Sexual Health - General Message Board

I have a problem.
I realize this might get a tad long but please see if you can help a worried fella out...

The tip of my penis is red and cracked and dry and its burning most of the time, and when i urinate.
Had this for about 2 months now.
It came just like that, at first it looked like the skin was peeling a little at the top but it healed and then it got red the next day and still is.
I have tried fungal creams for 2 weeks now and no improvement.
I am engaged since 18 months back and me and my finace always have protected sex (condoms).
I do think the symptoms occured after sex.

Ive also had a burning sensation in my butt the last week, i dont know if its from my fungal cream or not but its worrying me.
I have been to a clinc 3 times and theyve ruled out various stds (clamydia, gonnorea, Hep B+C, Hiv) and bladder and tract infections.

The doc checked my prostate twice, the first time she said it was fine the second time they said it was tender and put me on antibiotics for 10 days, it didnt help me at all.

The doctor did notice that i have a fungal infection on my upper leg the last time, and the fungal cream has started to make that patch a little lighter.
Thats when she told me that what i have is a fungal infection and she was certain of it. The thing thats annoying me is that after two weeks of the cream, its still not showing signs of even improving one bit!

I have another doctors apointment in 5 days with another doctor, but until then, what do you people think is wrong with me?I cant afford going to doctors anymore!

It does sound like a fungus and that can take months to clear up so I would keep going with the cream.

One other possiblity, are you alergic to condoms (latex) which would then cause the symptoms after sex. There are non-latex condoms, perhaps try those.

Or maybe you have changed your laundry soap or the underwear itself and that is causing the problem.

It's also possible to be alergic to your partners fluids. So if the other stuff doesn't work then perhaps a period of just making out with clothes on and see if things clear up.

I hope it is fungal, and that it will go away cause its burning pretty much nonstop and its so annoying and depressing.
I am going to keep at it with the cream but i have seen no improvement at all in 2 weeks so i am a little discouraged....and worried
