Post How often?

How often do you have sex w/ your significant other? Sometimes I feel I'm slacking. We started a year or so ago, and we're down to about 3 times a week, where as we use to be at 3 times a day. I'm tired, he's tired, we have issues, but I fear losing him if I don't pick up the pace, you know? I don't know what the average is really, but I also feel we have a pretty healthy situation... dunno though.

It varies from couple to couple and even from person to person. You should not have to try to compete with anyone including your partner. Just because he wants it more often doesn't mean you should feel obligated if you are tired or just not in the mood. Use this time to find other ways to meet his sexual desires without having intercourse.

Ciao ToolBox. When my g/f and I started our relationship 3 years ago now we were like rabbits and "at it" everyday. Now, things are different as my g/f is not interested as much as she used to be. I still have the desire to perform as we used to and therefore feel frustrated regularly. Hence, talking about it with your b/f is paramount. Furthermore, what you are both experiencing is by no means abnormal. After talking things over with my g/f she said that it had become too routine and the sex wasn't as intimate or "SPECIAL" anymore. So, it comes to compromise. We're not as regular as before but when it comes to having sex, its become more intense and passionate.

Hey, consider yourself very lucky. Some people are in relationships where they can't even have sex because of health reasons and they stay together. I understand your fear of losing the other person...but if you truly have that strong emotional bond, sex isn't what keeps you together. But the fact that you can have sex and you still have at least some time to do it, makes you both very lucky, and very normal.
