My current boyfriend is my first sexual partner (I am far from his first). I have no trouble coming on my own, but for some reason I can't even masturbate to completion with him around. In the 5 months we've been together I've only come once, and that was with him blindfolded while I was on top and watching porn. My boyfriend was recently talking to one of his friends that used to have this problem with her boyfriend while he was unemployed, but then when he got a job the sex started working. Although my boyfriend does not currently have a job, I'd like to think that I'm not as shallow as that! Anyone have any ideas?

Considering he is your first,and you do not have a high level experience,I think you were lucky to orgasm with him even the one time

For some women,it can take a high level of trust and comfort before you feel able to really let yourself "go" in front of a guy.Which is why you felt more at ease when he was blindfolded...

I really didn't get that level of comfort myself until I met my husband and we were together for a while.

Plus it also takes time to learn what positions work best for you and how sex differs from masturbation.
Give yourself time and just keep working at it.

Don't worry I doubt your that shallow. Sounds like simple Performance Anxiety...it takes a while to let it all go in front of a guy, especially when you've just lost your virginity and your trying to figure out how it all works. It is easier to orgasm when your on top because there's more clitoral stimulation. Don't rush it, spend a little more time on Foreplay getting to know each others body, likes and dislikes and ditch the porn, you never want to have to rely on that crap as part of your sex life.

It is difficult anyway for a woman to climax, I ony had g-spot orgasms with my ex and that was just in one position, no one has ever given me a clitoral orgasm. Thing is I like my new boyfriend more and I haven't managed to have a g-spot orgasm with him. Porn isn't healthy in a relationship, why was he blindfolded anyway?
