Redness and rash

I'm a sexually active male and have experienced something unusual. About a week ago some red inflammation appeared on the tip of my penis. There has been no pain, no blistering, no warts, nothing except for redness and light swelling. since then it has subsided but is still present. the second thing is an itchy rash broke out on my lower abdomen about four days after this and also smaller parts on my stomach and my right armpit. the armpit rash went away quickly, the lower abdomen is starting to go away and no longer itches. I am just curious of possibilities of this, are they related? i've researched possible STD's and Rashes but cant seem to pinpoint anything... thanks for any help.

Re: Redness and rash

The redness and swelling could just be from really active sex. And the rash could just be a common heat rash.

You have no other symptoms like discharge, pain, burning with urination...your symptoms seem pretty benign.

Do you practice safe sex? Is your girlfriend committed to you?

If all these are yes, you probably have nothing to worry about. If it doesn't clear up in a day or so and your still concerned, go get yourself checked out.
