This is my first post, sorry if this is the wrong part of the forum . My girlfriend and I are sexually active , and recently she went on the pill . We always use condoms but this time when she was on her period we had sex on the second day with no condom . I did not finish inside of her , but I am very nervous . I am aware that nothing is 100% and all of that , but can someone help me out here ? I'm very nervous about this . I've seen some people say that's dangerous with no pill (simple to understand) but lower risk than usual with the birth control pill
WHen you say no pill but she went on the pill, I am confused. Are you talking about the placebo pills? Most are 3 weeks of birth control pills and 1 week of placebos or no pills. As long as she took all 3 weeks of the birth control pills, she is protected. That week off is built in.
Oh I'm sorry I meant she wasn't on the pill for months and she just just recently started a month ago . I'm just nervous about her possibly being pregnant .,. Is there a possibility of her becoming pregnant if we did have sex the second day of her period ?? Or a higher than usual chance since nothing is 100%
Once she has been on the pill for one month, she is as protected as she will be after a year of taking them. If she had started her period and she had taken all the active pills for that month, then she was protected at that time.
