No sex drive and soft erections

For the past 3 years i've had no sex drive. I still masterbate at least twice a week but when i ejaculate i'm usually not truley stiff. I get morning wood on occasion but it's not all that hard.

Back when i was 14-21 i used to masterbate 4 times a day and i could not for the life of me go for 3 days without doing it.

When i was 18 and still had a very high sex drive i got a call girl and i couldn't get hard for her. I know it's probably mental but i don't see how talking to some therapist would change anything about my dick not getting hard enough for penetration.

I've been really depressed for the past 5 years, would that matter at all? I'd try some ssri but i've hard that makes the sex drive problem even worse.t

Also i must add that when i was 18 after jacking off 4 times a day for 4 years. I was just having a normal day at my folks house after i got back from the mall. I went to the bathroom and fulled down my pants and my boxers were soaked in blood, but it was a dry kinda blood so i didn't feel it but it was blood. I looked at my dick and a bubble of blood came out. The same thing happened the next day but less blood but still a lot. It never happened again so i didn't worry about it but since then my erections have been a little softer than they were before.

Any ideas?

Definately! In your case I think that talking to a psychiatrist is the only way you're going to overcome your problem. The reason I say this is the duration that you have been depressed. It's normal to be depressed from time to time but you're talking about clinical depression and that requires drugs and counseling to get over. I am just getting over a 20yr clinical depression myself. As for the drugs causing problems with your sex life that is true. Some anti-depressants (AD) cause you to loose sex drive while others make you rock hard. Every AD effects each patient differently so you'll probably end up trying a lot of different meds to find one that works for you with side effects that you can live with.

Re: No sex drive and soft erections

Its a big question, pardon my pun. How old are you? Do you like women or do you perhaps need to try sex with men? Are there any fantasys that turn you on? Ever tried just masturbating with a nice looking hooker? I don't want answers to these questions, that would be too much information, LOL, but ask yourself these questions. Explore your sexuality. Not everyone has a high drive, not every guy likes bang bang bang. Some guys find relief in domination/submission, S and M, bisexuality, seeing call girls, watching porn. Finding the one true love is not good for sex, new research released this week from Germany suggests that one partner is never going to be enough for the majority of men.

You might be depressed, or it might be you are sexually bored. If you are over 40, its natural to see a bit of a decline.

Good luck.......
