I am a 24 year old male and I recently realized I have some erection difficulties. I hadn't had sex for the first time up until a couple months ago so I wasn't really aware of any erection problems. When I was with myself it took quite a lot of manual stimulation to get an erection, but I didn't know I had a problem because I was never with a girl before. When I am with my girlfriend we can have foreplay for extended periods and I still won't have an erection hard enough for intercourse, eventhough I am really turned on. Even after she gives me oral sex sometimes it still isn't hard enough.
I also noticed my urine stream is a little weaker and it dribbles quite a lot after I am done urinating. Also my ejaculation is pretty weak too. It just kind of spills over the tip and doesn't shoot like it used to. I still get morning erections. I can still get erections when I want to masturbate everytime I try, but it takes alot of manual stimulation. When I am with my girlfriend I sometimes can't get erections unless I was to use my hand or have her help me out, but it takes so long and it's kind of kills the mood. So I went and saw my doctor and he checked my prostate (was ok), and tested me for testosterone levels, diabetes, checked for signs of testiclular cancer, and high blood pressure. My testosterone levels were good, prostate was good, didn't have diabetes, testicles checked out ok, but my blood pressure was a little high.
He also made me an appointment with a urologist (coming up soon) and in the mean time perscribed me some cialis. The cialis works great, with no real side effects except maybe a little headache. Using Cialis made my erections the way they used to be when I was 18-20, but I still hope the urologist can narrow it down to some type of physical problem so I can stop taking cialis. I tried not taking it one weekend, and the same old erection problems came back, so I will continue to take cialis for now
BTW you can take cialis on a friday night and be able to have spontaneous erections until monday morning, pretty cool
This is so crazy to me, because I am only 24, I don't smoke, I don't drink excessivly, I don't do any drugs, I am on 0 medications, I am in good shape, I have very little stress, so I don't understand why I am have erection difficulties at my age. It's a little scary.
I am just wondering if any other young men are experiencing or have experienced erectile dysfunction similiar to this and had similar symptoms and what the outcome of seeing thier doctor/urologist was? has anyone had any success in determining their cause of ED? Has anyone had theirs cured once they determined what the phyiscal cause was?
I will be sure to post any information I find out from going to my urologist and whatever my doctor may find out. Please post any success stories or information you may have.
