I have hair growing on my penis

yes thats right.
my penis' skin is covered with little whitish dots. probably half the size of a smily face . theyre more or less just on the front and only at the beginning of my penis on the back.
and hair is beginning to grow out of them.
for most men i know they have those types of dots on the skin covering their testicles but mine have just continued all the way to the top.
what do i do about this?
is their any operation i could get?
any help/answers are GREATLY appreciated
as this is something ive finally realized i need to take care of....

Re: I have hair growing on my penis

Hey bud, nothing to worry about here at all. Those little flesh colored bumps are probably pubic hair follicles and they may or may not have a pube in them. It is totally common to have some pubes growing up the shaft of your penis, even up near the top...I do and many others have come here to share the same thing. So, don't give it another thought. By the way, anything you do to try and remove them (shaving, plucking etc...won't work either, they'll come back!) Forget about it, you're just like the rest of us!

Re: I have hair growing on my penis

hey man.
thanks for the reply.
id just like to point out
i read somewhere that this could be caused by mishaps during circumsision
and that
there were ways to stretch the skin (???) to get rid of it.
whatever...
thanks anyways.

Bud I have no idea what you're talking about. So chat with a doc about them if they bother you that much. Don't worry about those pubes though, totally normal.

Re: I have hair growing on my penis

Cut or not, some hair and little white bumps are normal near the base of the penis.

Is there a relatively hairless section between the base of your penis and the circumcision scar?

Re: I have hair growing on my penis

circumsision scar?
uh. by that do you mean the area at the top where theres a color change before the head? if so yes.
yeah there is an area right in the middle (the shaft) at the bottom (the base) of my penis with no dots.
but i have to say i really think the amount i have is abnormal.
theres tons!

especially before that color change.

i think i may go and see a dermatologist...
would that be the type of specialist i would want to see?

thanks so much for the help.

Re: I have hair growing on my penis

Okay, you have found the circumcision scar: the place where the color abruptly changes. Now, between this scar and the penis head lies special tissue, which is always hairless.

From the scar backwards toward the body, we are dealing with regular skin, which can be hairy. Usually, there is some pubic hair on the penis itself, but it does not usually go as far along the penis as the scar. If it does, it could just mean you are a hairy guy, or had a lot of shaft skin removed with your circumcision, pulling up the hairier skin near the base of your penis to compensate.

There's no panic here, and no reason to rush off to the doctor's. If the hairs bother you, they can be plucked or shaved. As for the dots, I don't know how far they usually go, or can go. There's a few on my penis as well, beyond the point where the hair is growing.

Guess it can't hurt to see a doctor if you are worried... like Lance said.
