Ok, it's my guys b-day in a couple of weeks and I really have no idea what to get for him because he owns everything that he can afford! so my only other option is to buy lingerie (something we could both enjoy) but we haven't been going out that long and I'm not sure if I should buy anything. I don't have much money (I'm a v poor student) so i don't want to go and spend 100 quid on lingerie that he will want to just take off when we get...down to it.

SO I need a man's POV, would it be worth the money? or when your partner wears something do you usually want to take it off anyway? is there anything that you particularly like your partner to wear that you like her to keep on? I thought of a corset but then thought it covers a lot of skin...and that may be less of a turn on than nothing at all.

Any advice from any men, or women, would be appreciated!

If nothing else, treat him to a nice evening out to dinner. Or maybe in addtion to that, you can also put on some lingerie.

It is hard to give you a perfect answer on lingerie but it is safe to say, you can't go wrong with it. Try the multii piece approach instead of the one piece type. Put on a multi piece lingeriie with sheer nylon stocking and garter belts.

NICE! OK..OK HOT! OK...OK.. I digress... but the idea being that he can take off a little at a time and only as much as he wants. I mean after all, it's his b-day.

Maybe take him shopping at Victoria's Secret and model different things and let him pick what he wants. Seeing you try on different things may get him in the mood.....

Then go to dinner wearing his selection and then take him home to open his present.

magnetic, i might just accidently email your suggestion annonymously to my girl, i've been trying to hint at something like that for 2 years, she doesn't understand the fuss, saying that it's not a present i get to keep.

Well I have worn stuff in the bedroom before and he did like it, but I always think that if he liked it that much he'd buy me some, right? my bday came and went, and I hinted at lingerie (because it's something that we'd both enjoy, and i LOVE the thought of getting expensive lingerie for my bday!) but he got me a filofax, a cake, a balloon, and took me to ikea. Which was sweet and all but I had hinted a few times about vibrator + lingerie, and I got a sodding filofax. What bf gets his gf a filofax?? he's a very practical present buyer.

So the selfish part of me doesn't want to get him anything like that, because he didn't get anything for me. And it was my 21st and our first yr of celebrating my bday as a couple, so I expected us to do couply romantic stuff!

Maybe I should just get him a calculator, or a writing pad or something practical like that to pay him back. Would that be petty of me?

The silly thing is I would have LOVED to go lingerie shopping with him, I would have tried them on and done naughty things to him but he never really seemed keen. I need a more adventurous bloke....I'm thinking of leaving him anyway.

Actually, I will ask u a Q. I have asked time and time again to spice things up, I could get a corset, role play, do things in public places etc etc because I find the sex good but... repetitive. He hasn't listened, he says he can't be bothered to do it anywhere else, and I'm getting BORED. I'm 22 and he's 32, he uses the excuse that he's done it all before and thus stuff like that doesn't appeal to him anymore.

Is it true that you lose interest in all that stuff as you get older, or is he just a boring sod?

Is it bad to dump a guy if he doesn't listen to your sexual needs even tho u have tried tried and tried again to get him to listen?
