Hey,

For the last few days I have noticed that where the end of my shaft and the penis head meet, on the tip, it is very red, looks irritated, and dry. Like it looks like the side is peeling from dryness or irritation. Does anyone know what this is or what I could do? It wouldn't be from an STD right?? I am kinda young, and I was wondering. If someone could write back fast i would appreciate it.

I don't know. If you are not sexually active, try putting some lotion on it. You might have a fungal infection that an anti-fungal might help, too. Tell your parents if it doesn't clear up so you can be examined by a doctor.

I have a very similar problem. Right around the base of my penis, the skin is kind of a reddish pinkish tint in a patchy formation and it feels kind of wierd. I had a medication for it, but it only decreased it, but its back. The skin flakes a little when i rub it because it itches sometimes, usually after exercising. Should i see a doctor?

Seeing a doctor, especially a dermatologist, would be a logical thing to do and would give you peace of mind.
