What are the dangers of anal sex? What kind of lubricant should be used? Is regular lotion ok? I suppose I should clarify this is a man and a woman. So what would be the dangers to both partners?
Thanks for the help.
Potential dangers are tearing of the delicate tissue in there, which leads to the next potential danger, these tears makes the transmission of STDs easier. It can also be quite painful for the person on the receiving end depending on certain things. Also, the bacteria from the rectum should never be brought into contact with other orifices. Do not go from one to another w/o changing condoms. And assuming you'll be wearing a condom, you have to use condom-friendly lube, which regular lotion is not. Also, regular lotion probably won't provide enough lube for this, you should use real lube.
it carries all of the dangers of any of the venereal diseases. that being said, it is no more risky than vaginal intercourse, except for the possibility of anal tearing if she is not warmed up enough, or if there is not enough lube. and, as mentioned before, you don't want to have vaginal intercourse afterwards, without thorough washing with an antibacterial soap. anal bacteria don't bother a penis, but they can wreak havoc on a vagina.
