i have been with the same girl for a year now, and neither her or i have slept around, we are always together. But lately i have had a burning sensation when i pee. Man does it burn bad It is unbarable pain. I did a search and it seems like it is a urinary tract infection. What kind of medicine can i get over the counter for this? are there any creams that i can use? I ask this because i do not have any health insurance and going to a doctor would cost and arm and a leg. so if anyone has any info on what i need to get to get rid of this infection please tell me.
You need an antibiotic and you are going to need to consult a physician for that...Do you have a sexual health/free clinic near you? They can help you out for very little charge.
Maybe you could ask your pharmacist, but I doubt it. Most OTC 'cures' for UTIs aren't cures, but more preventative in nature. Once you have that kind of an infection, antibiotics are usually the way to go...
Ignore tigress (I doubt she's right), but do see a doctor - UTIs are not a good thing to mess around with! They can really make you sick if you don't get them treated.
