penis injury -- ligament damage?

i was having intercourse with my girlfriend and to make a long story short she moved in such a way that my penis (which was pointing up) was bent so that it was more perpendicular to my body. i felt a small pop. while i am still able to get an erection it isnt as hard and no longer points straight up. it is more perpendicular now. i think i may have torn a ligament. there is only mild general pain on the left side at the base. sometimes there is no pain at all. there is no swelling or discoloration. has anyone had this happen to them? what is the normal course of action? does it just heal on its on after taking some time off?

thanks.

Ouch! I read about something like this several years ago, but it had to do with blood flow, or the lack of blood pressure to the penis. This is definitely one for the doctor to check out. My uneducated guess is that maybe something was ruptured inside as a result of your gal's movement. Hope you get better.

Re: penis injury -- ligament damage?

Hi Kev,
Yeah I have heard of this before, sometimes women can get too wild specially in a riding position and break it off on the inside, but the skin is still intact. You should go to a doctor and have it checked out, many times this can cause permanent damage and only limited errection, since the scar tissue on the inside will prevent it to be filled up completely. Usually they can fix this with surgery.

this sounds like a penis fracture. the quicker you get to a urologist, the better your chances for a complete recovery.

Hey guys, which position(s) puts you at greatest risk for this? And how do you prevent it?

Re: penis injury -- ligament damage?

I know the feeling personally, but in my case I was masturbating and over done it. It made a load cracking sound like the sound of breaking a
stick. My penis at the time was extra hard at the time it snapped. It suddenly when limp and a bad burning pain followed. I went to the doctor and got it taken care. I'm ok now but it doesn't get as hard as it once did but, erection & girth was effected.
(7.25 length - 5.75girth vs. 7.0 length 5.50 girth) this happen 2 years ago
