Penis insecurity question. (As if there isn't enough of them on these boards)

I am a little overweight, and I wondered if it is normal for your penis to look small when it isn't in its erect state because of that fact. When erect, it is 5.5 inches, which is average by most test. When looking at it during its normal state, you would not have guessed it.

That's totally normal. In the last couple of years I lost about 40 pounds and I've kept it off by diet and exercise. The biggest surprise about this (except how much better I feel) is that my flaccid size is much more noticeable (gained probaby 1 - 2 inches) and I'm the same erect as you. So, I'd say that your assumption is right on target.

My husband has recently lost over 100 pounds, and the biggest surprise for me has been the increase in his "size." It is at least 3 inches, and has really shocked both of us. There is just no end to the benefits of losing weight!

Remember, the size of your penis when flaccid really has nothing to do with the size when erect. Not everyone expands by the same amount or percentage, if you know what I mean.

Good luck.

Generally, the bigger you are flaccid, the less you expand when erect.
