Should I invest in a smaller size condom? - Sexual Health - Men Message Board

I got bored and decided to look at a few condom reviews, and I noticed that most of them were around 7.5 to 8" long and 2" wide. I'm a wee bit over 5" and my girth is about 4.8", though I don't know the width. I was wondering if I would be too small for an average condom or if that's just to accomodate a greater range of sizes.

An average condom should be just fine. Best way to find out is to try several brands and see which fit you best. You can try using them to masturbate and see how they feel. Just remember that when you use them for intercourse be sure to hold onto the open end of the condom after you ejaculate and while you withdraw your penis from your g/f's vagina in order to prevent the condom from slipping off and possibly spilling your semen in or near your partner's vagina. Also, withdraw promptly after you ejaculate and before you lose your erection.
