ok during sex ive heard stories and stuff about having sex and the after ejaculation just stay bein hard n keep at it again for a second round...personally after ejaculation my errection subsides..and it takes a while..(bout 1 hour somtimes more) untill errection is fully bak. now is there a way to get to stayn hard and have sex after ejaculating..just a curious question..any imput is greatly appreciated
i read something a month or so ago on this message board that after ejaculation the body releases a hormone that both inhibits your erection, and even your sexual desire... so it is a biological problem that is probably nearly impossible to overcome. however, if i am amazingly aroused, i can sometimes maintain an erection after ejaculation with constant stimulation and reach orgasm again... so it isn't impossible!
Some guys can stay erect and go again, some are truly multi-orgasmic. The greatest majority of us are not. That time between when you're done and the next erection is called the refractory period, and it to is different for each of us, some can get going again in like 5 minutes, others take longer.
To answer the poster's actual question: no, there isn't anything you can do to keep an erection after ejaculation. Ultimately, however, as you continue to have sex, get older and become more skillful, experience new things and reach new levels of arousal, you may certainly find that every now and then this is something that just happens. If it does, great -- if not, don't worry about it.
Most sexual partners DO NOT expect this; no one is going to be disappointed to see that you are responding in a perfectly normal manner with regard to male physiology.
Caveat: Viagra CAN help reduce the time of a refractory period, though not guaranteed. Most docs probably wouldn't prescribe it for this purpose, yet a few docs are in the habit of tossing V to anyone who asks. Unless you truly NEED it, however -- I'd recommend against recreational use.
If you do not NEED viagra, do not use it, it can cause many many problems, and can even leave you impotent. I know this, because my ex was not the most bright crayon in the box. He seemed to think that it would be grrreat to be able to stay hard for hours and hours. First of all, the prescription says if your erection lasts longer thatn 4 hours to seek medical attention. He did not. He went on using this for many months on a daily basis. Now, the poor guy, at 26 years old, can not get it up even with viagra. He is impotent because the viagra damaged his vas deference. I think its sad, that a male would be so concerned about how long he can last that he would consider using something that can cause permenant damage.
