I have been using Viagra for a little while now. I am bothered by the timing issues relating to eating etc. A meal in the evening seems to shut down the possibility of Viagra-enhanced sex. A pill (25mg) seems to take forever to "come on" on top of a meal. (Pfizer is very clear about this phenomenon in their literature.)
I am thinking that if i snorted a piece of a pill chopped up (as caustic as that might be), then: 1) it might get into the blood stream right away, and 2) what I ate and when might not be an issue.
Has anyone experimented with snorted Viagra?

Reason: mis-signed
Only if you want to be the butt of an evening full of "Pinocchio" jokes.
I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY!! I'm not making fun of you, but the joke was there.....
Actually, I have absolutely no idea if you can snort Viagra or not. I know I wouldn't want to try. Have you asked your doc if you can try Levitra or Cialis? Maybe a longer acting drug would be the ticket - you could take it earlier in the day. Viagra also comes in higher dosages than 25mg, maybe that would make the food effect lessen.
You can grind the pill up and put it under your tongue and it will be absorbed through the lining of your mouth. The pill is bitter though and it takes about 5 minutes to dissolve completely.
I assume you have a supply of Viagra that you need to "use up." After that, you should consider switching to Cialis, which has the advantages of Viagra and fewer of the limitations, like the one you mentioned regarding timing. It takes effect in just a few minutes, and lasts for 2-3 days/nights. Also has less likelihood of creating or "accentuating" a pronounced sexual flush--deep red face, neck & upper chest. (That can certainly give a broad hint as to what you've been doing, if you go out among people you know after finishing the sexual activity! -- Especially people that know you haven't got a sunburn.) As with Viagra, you can take any portion (amount) of a given tablet, depending on how much boost your erection needs... you don't necessarily need to take a whole tablet.
As for the "snorting" part of your question, that's outside my field of knowledge entirely, but I feel almost certain that such an approach is not workable.
When you snort anything, much of it is trapped in the nasal passages and some will go into the lungs. The nasal passages have blood vessels close to the surface of mucous membranes and can be absorbed through this route. Absorption is quicker than when the same substance is swallowed. The sublingual route (under the tongue) is the same as nasal passages - a quicker route of absorption. THe biggest problem with snorting something is that the substance itself can be caustic to mucous membranes. Chronic cocaine and meth snorters will develop fistulas (holes) in their nasal septum sometimes extending to the floor of the mouth. The lungs don't fair much better. The stomach is much better equipped to deal with caustic substances. I don't know the effects on the nasal membranes of Viagra, but I wouldn't want to be the one to find out. If you are looking for a faster route, go sublingual.
